We help the people in ukraine who are suffering from the war
München Hilft Ukraine e.V. (Munich Helps Ukraine) – MHU – is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people in Ukraine affected by war with in-kind donations. MHU was established in March 2022 by 108 committed founding members and emerged from an initiative of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Since then, our organization has evolved into an independent entity tirelessly working for people in Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees.
Our focus is on supporting hospitals by providing medical equipment, medicine, and ambulances. Additionally, we supply orphanages, nursing homes, and families with essential goods such as generators, food, water, and clothing.
So far, we have been able to deliver more than 3000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, a milestone that could only be achieved through the generous support of individuals and organizations. To ensure that our aid reaches those who need it most MHU works directly with reliable partner organizations in Ukraine . Most of our aid efforts have been delivered to Kherson, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhia so far.

We use monetary donations to buy specific humanitarian aid, which is difficult to acquire in Ukraine. This allows us to swiftly react to the needs of people in Ukraine and cut any delays in shipping to Ukraine.
